The Kingston Arts Council is seeking a part-time Programming Coordinator to work in its busy downtown office. This is a new position with the Kingston Arts Council to transfer the KAC's broad mandate into relevant, diverse, and discipline-wide artistic and educational programming.
The Programming Coordinator will oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of the Kingston Arts Council's programming including program development, organizing, marketing, staffing, production, and funding.
We are searching for someone with a minimum of three years administrative, networking, and arts event/program planning experience, and knowledge of the many creative disciplines within the Kingston community. This person must be a creative self-starter, able to follow direction and take initiative, available to work non-standard hours, and be passionate about developing arts and culture in Kingston.
