| FATHEAD CD Release Party June 20, 2010 8:30 to 11:30 Brandees 178A |
Fathead’s latest CD "WHERE’S THE BLUES TAKING ME" is the crown jewel in the band's seven CD catalogue thus far. It's been a long but steady climb since Fathead’s debut CD in 1995, and the band has been tearing it up on the North American festival circuit ever since, making FATHEAD one of the country's top roots acts. Signed to the world renowned ELECTRO-FI RECORDS' imprint, their previous release "BUILDING FULL OF BLUES" garnered them a second coveted JUNO AWARD (Canada's "GRAMMY") in 2008 for "Blues Recording Of The Year.”
That’s the official bio but the real story is that Fathead is one of the best dance bands anywhere and they are going to be at Brandees, get your tickets now. Fathead is: John Mays on lead vocals, Al Lerman on harp, tenor sax, vocals, Teddy Leonard on guitar, vocals, Omar Tunoch on bass, vocals and Bucky Bergeron drums, percussion, vocals.
FATHEAD is truly an original band with a sound immediately recognizable as their own. They have a ball wherever they play and it shows! http://www.fathead.biz/ Tickets are $15.00 at Brandees, Brian’s Record Option, Tara Foods and at the door. For Further Information Nancy Greig 613-531-9685 |
