The Blazz Quartet once again start things off in their new slot of 5:00-7:30 on Thursday at The Mansion. They will be playing upstairs in The Living Room.
The excellent music continues Saturday for the Homegrown Live weekend. Homegrown Live is a celebration of live music in Kingston in support of the Joe Chithalen Memorial Musical Instrument Lending Library. The organizers also collect food donations for the Partners in Mission Foodbank.
As was the case last year, Monte's will be hosting an entire day of jazz acts starting at 4:00pm with performances by Michelle Kaz, Blazz, Sara Hamilton and David, James Wannamaker's Downtown Trio, Spencer Evans, Georgette Fry, Dave and Paul Barton, and Mauricios Montecinos. We have been told that exact schedules are in flux. We will post an updated schedule on our site as soon as we have more information.
Please be sure to join us in showing support for Jazz in Kingston. This is an excellent opportunity to see a variety of great acts.
