Buskers and Musicians Wanted for Community Events

My name is Kathy Sturmey and I coordinate the Community Harvest Market in North Kingston.  I am with the Community Harvest Working Group.  The group is comprised of various individuals and community organizations interested in increasing food security in the Rideau Heights neighbourhood of Kingston.

 

Tomorrow, Wednesday, July 28 the market in partnership with Better Beginnings and other community organizations are holding a Family BBQ Picnic Fun Day at the Wally Elmer Centre, located at the corners of Daly and McCauley St. (off Weller Ave).  Along with many activities and workshops, local musicians Kris and Dee will be performing from 4:30pm - 6:30pm.

 

We are also always looking for local amateur talent to come on regular market days.  We will permit busking for those interested.  If you know anyone who may be interested in coming tomorrow for the event (sorry for short notice) or performing at the market, please pass this on for me.  I would greatly appreciate it!
